SMA Secures Catholic High School Facilities!

 

Dear SMA Families and Friends, It is with great pleasure, excitement and gratitude that today we announce the completed purchase of the property and facilities adjacent to St. John’s parish—formally known as The Hills Youth and Family Services—solidifying our plans to open a faith-filled, flourishing high school next fall.  Secured through the generous donations of private benefactors totaling $4 million, the 140-acre property includes a main campus building, gymnasium, and numerous outbuildings which are able to support unique and meaningful learning opportunities for our Sentinels, all while bringing our learners closer to God’s creation on its beautiful property.  First steps will be made to move into our new facilities in the coming weeks, with a plan to welcome our community in celebration later this year.  With the help of our Lord, Jesus Christ, next fall we will be ready to welcome our first-ever high school class of Stella Maris Academy, the class of 2026!
