It is a joy to be with you at St. John’s and St. Joseph’s, and to be your pastor! I was ordained to the priesthood for the diocese of Duluth on June 22, 2012. I served as an associate pastor for two years in Ely, Babbitt, and Tower. My first pastorate was for the parishes of Nashwauk and Coleraine. After serving there for four years I was transferred to be the pastor in Grand Rapids and Cohasset where I served for two years before coming here to Duluth this last summer. I grew up in Brainerd where my parents still live. I am the youngest of four children, and my three siblings are all married and have children. My years in seminary were spent at St. John Vianney College Seminary at the University of St. Thomas, and St. Meinrad Seminary for my theology. I was ordained with five other men, two of which served your parishes. Fr. Drew was your previous pastor, and Fr. Ben who served here as associate pastor from 2012-2014. I look forward to serving you as your pastor for many years to come and working with you to build up the Body of Christ here in Duluth.
